People’s interest in remote work has been piqued by the pandemic. As many people search for their next opportunity, some are only interested in positions that will allow them to work from home most of the time. Also, remote work may open the door to opportunities outside a person’s city or region, said Adrienne Tom, who is an executive resume writer and job search strategist, on the most recent #GetHired Live. To land a job, she suggests:


• Identify companies of interest

• Research if they allow people to work remotely

• Talk to someone within the company for more info

• Prepare a pitch

• Be transparent
